Bob is a diverse author with five published books:
His autobiography – Love is a Pretty Girl with a Cape to Share Your Dreams With
His romance trilogy – Horses of Tir Na Nog:
Book 1 – A New Door Opens
Book 2 – The Sisterhood
Book 3 – Dreams
And a business book – How Not to Fail in Business Without Really Trying – co-authored with his writing partner, Robyn Bennett (aka: Casey Fae Hewson).
Next up is a new romance story: The Beach Pool, that he’s writing on his own and another romance story, Light My Way that he and his wonderful New Zealand Kiwi romance writer and partner are writing together.
In addition to writing, Bob is an avid reader, reviewer, editor and beta reader for other authors and guest blogger on several web sites. All of which is what led he and Robyn (Casey) to become writing partners when they started helping each other and discovered how similar their styles were and how much alike their thinking is.
They both belong to the San Diego Writers and Editors Guild (SDWEG), and Bob belongs to the San Diego Professional Editors Network (SDPEN). He and Robyn also belong to Romance Writers with Bob a member of Romance Writers of America, San Diego (RWASD) and Robyn a member of Romance Writers International, New Zealand (RWINZ).
Born in Queens New York, he grew up in Bethpage, Long Island. His travels have covered a good part of the world and he has lived in London, England, Istanbul, Turkey, Houston and San Antonio, Texas, Los Angeles and Paso Robles, California; before finally calling Bonita, just outside of San Diego, home.
Bob’s education includes: Numerous studies in Creative Writing, Literature, English Literature and English at NYU, William and Mary, University of Maryland and the University of Delaware. He also holds a dual BS degree in Electronic Engineering in Systems Design and Development and Project Management from Northrop University.
On the technical side, he has developed and managed the creation of numerous manuals, operators’ guides and training programs for the military and airlines.
He has also owned and operated his own construction business, co-owned a restaurant and has traveled extensively while working with the military and airlines, as well as for pleasure.
Bob is an active member of the San Diego Writers and Editors Guild (SDWEG) and attends and participates in local writers’ events such as the San Diego Festival of Books fair and the La Jolla Writers Conference.
On a more personal level, typically, Bob can be found volunteering at the San Diego Zoo or on the patio of a Cohn Group restaurant in San Diego.
If he’s not there, check the pubs and restaurants in London, their home away from home. After that, it’s anybody’s guess, but I would start with Africa or the Galapagos Islands.
